About Patrick Dornan
A career built where sales, sport, data, and systems meet.
Patrick Dornan leads PFD Consulting. He brings a practical, commercially minded perspective to Salesforce, data, analytics, and growth work, with the responsiveness and accountability of a small firm.
The Path Here
From the front line to the system behind it.
Patrick's career began selling programs at South Carolina football games. As a sales intern with the New York Mets, he saw the commercial side of sports up close and discovered CRM: the systems that turn customer information, sales activity, and reporting into better decisions.
He combined that discovery with the analytics skills he developed at the University of South Carolina, building a career that has included ticket sales analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, and CRM leadership for sports organizations. His experience includes work with the Kansas City Royals, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, the Philadelphia Flyers, SeatGeek, and other teams and organizations as a consultant.
That foundation now shapes PFD Consulting. Patrick can work through the technical detail of a system or data problem while staying focused on the commercial outcome: clearer decisions, stronger operations, and a business that is better positioned to grow.
What To Expect
Clear scope. Fast communication. Thoughtful work.
Personal service. You work directly with Patrick, not a sales layer or rotating delivery team.
Comfort with ambiguity. Some projects start with a clear build. Others start with a hard business question. Both are welcome.
Practical follow-through. Advice matters most when it can be put to work, so engagements stay grounded in the people, systems, and constraints involved.
Beyond Client Work
An operator's perspective.
Patrick also builds and operates products, including ventures in real estate technology, sports trivia, and fitness. He is named on the RipClip patent, U.S. Patent No. 11,266,878, for technology designed to capture and analyze weight-training information. Building products himself keeps the consulting work grounded in the realities of customers, technology, marketing, and monetization.
Outside of work, Patrick is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, an avid reader, and enjoys hiking, skiing, and off-roading with his wife.
